Soon enough, using Clint's scientific knowledge of botany, Joan's charisma and David's military skillset, they officially founded "The New Frontier" and formed its leading council. Eventually, the group set up around a dying orchard on the banks of the Shenandoah River, where they were soon approached by two other survivors, Clinton Barnes and Joan. As time went on, more civilian survivors likely began to join, and due to the group's growing membership, they decided to look for a place to settle down. The beginnings of the group can be traced back to the very start of the outbreak, when David teamed up with his close friend Ava and the rest of his old army unit it is likely that most of the these active or former soldiers went on to became among the first members of the New Frontier.

They’re cheap and tend to save more space thanks to ammo-box capacity, making them exceptional looting weapons, perfect for players who prefer ranged silence and safety. Regardless, pistols are the safest and most versatile silent weapon going. Melee has the style while Rifles have the damage, with Pistols being the unwanted sibling. Rifles tend to win the popularity contest, closely followed by melee as the cult favourite. With some exceptions, pistols typically have a respectable clip-size coupled with solid damage, more than enough to melt aggro spikes and bosses. They are hand-held statistic gobblers compared to melee weapons and rifles.ĭespite the high risk of local aggro, you can’t beat a pistol in terms of loot-weapon safety. Pistols rotate around hybrid builds due to their varied requirements, with revolvers needing less crit but more reloading than semi-automatic (and vice versa), while both need accuracy. Redundant ammo, thus cheap and plentiful, contained within oversized snack-boxes that pack 800 nuggets a slot, which saves cash and, more importantly, space. On the flip-side, that quicker rate of fire is what makes it easy to handle local aggro. Pistols are renowned for attracting much more local-attention compared to rifles due to having faster rates of fire.
